Using Gmail’s check mail options, it is possible to send and receive mail using your hosted email address in Gmail:

Incoming / Receive Mail

  1. Log into your Gmail account. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page and select Settings
  2. Click the Accounts and Import tab.
  3. Click Add a mail account under Check mail from other accounts.
  4. Enter your full email address.
  5. Click Next
  6. Make sure the Import (POP3) option is selected and click Next
  7. On the next page:
    1. Username: Enter your full e-mail address.
    2. Password: Enter your email password.
    3. POP Server: Enter secure.greatmail.com
    4. Use Port 995.
    5. Make sure the option to always use a secure connection is checked
  8. Click Add Account

Outgoing / Send Mail

  1. Click Add another email address under Send mail as under Settings / Accounts and Import.
  2. Enter the following items:
    1. Name: The name you wish to display in messages you send.
    2. Email Address: Enter your email address.
    3. Treat as an alias: It is recommended that this box is checked for the most common preference.
  3. Click the Next Step button.
  4. On the next page, use the following information:
    1. SMTP Server: Change the server to secure.greatmail.com and use Port: 2500.
    2. Username: Edit the username to be the full email address.
    3. Password: Enter the password for the email address on the server.
    4. Make sure Secured connection selected.
  5. Click the Add Account button.
  6. Once your credentials are confirmed your e-mail address will be sent a verification message with a link you will need to click to verify your account.
