1. Sign up for email hosting online.
2. Using the web based admin panel, add your email accounts and configure aliases and forwards as needed. For domain aliases, contact Greatmail support. Generally, during normal business hours, your administration panel should be ready and functional within 2 hours of completing step 1.
3. Add new account connections to your mail client programs and mobile devices. This will allow you to effectively connect to both your old and new email service providers at the same time eliminating loss of messages during the transition period.
4. Edit your domain’s MX record to start sending and receiving mail through Greatmail.
After you sign up, you will receive instructions for accessing the admin panel, settings to configure mail clients and mobile devices and MX record information. We are always available to assist with any of these steps including the MX record change.
